Participating Members | Supporting Members
The
Campaign for Home Energy Assistance is comprised of both
participating and supporting member organizations. Participating
members generally are non-profit organizations that work together
through the Campaign as advocates for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance
Program; many are involved either directly or indirectly in the
delivery of LIHEAP benefits at the state, county or local level. Supporting
members not only are advocates for LIHEAP but also provide
the financial support that enables the Campaign for Home Energy
Assistance to carry out its mission and pursue its goals.

of Blacks in Energy is a national association of energy
professionals founded and dedicated to ensure the input of
African Americans and other minorities into the discussions
and developments of energy policies regulations, R&D technologies,

organizations that acts as a clearinghouse for national African

The Coalition to Keep
Michigan Warm is an informal alliance formed to address
energy and poverty issues in Michigan and to advocate for
adequate Low Income Home Energy Assistance funding. It has
about 30 members, including social service and community action
agencies, utilities, church-related charities, fuel funds

The Crisis Assistance
Ministry is a collaborative effort of clergy to respond
more effectively to the needs of low income families in Mecklenburg
County, North Carolina. Its mission is to provide assistance
and advocacy for people in financial crisis, helping them

The Energy Coordinating Agency
is a non-profit corporation working to ensure that low- and
moderate-income Philadelphia area residents have access to safe,
affordable and reliable sources of energy and water. ECA provides

is dedicated to helping Colorado’s neediest families
meet their home energy needs. It raises money to help families

administers a wide range of government, United Way, utility
and privately supported energy assistance and case management

Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy is a statewide
low-income energy collaborative representing low-income weatherization
providers. It played a key role in discussions leading to
the enactment of state legislation that provides substantial

is a non-profit organization of Michigan businesses, community
human services and private citizens working with companies
and energy providers. It provides emergency energy assistance
to low-income families, individuals and senior citizens throughout
Michigan who are in danger of losing essential heat or electricity.

that deliver natural gas to more than 53 million U.S. homes,
businesses and industries. AGA members account for about
